KÖLN 75 amongst finalists for the 2025 Günter-Rohrbach-Filmpreis
We are thrilled to announce that KÖLN 75 has been selected as one of the four finalists for the 15th Günter-Rohrbach-Filmpreis. A total of 74 films were submitted for this year’s competition, which will give 5 cash prizes worth of €26,000. The prize winners will be announced during the award ceremony on November 7th by a jury led by director Dominik Graf. Congratulations to our amazing team for this recognition – we are proud to see KÖLN 75 honored among Germany’s most outstanding films!

Mala Emde wins German Acting Award 2025 for KÖLN 75
We’re excited to announce that Mala Emde has been awarded the 2025 German Acting Award in the category Best Dramatic Leading Role. Recognized by the 4300 members of the actors guild for her outstanding performance in KÖLN 75, Mala’s work continues to highlight her exceptional talent and commitment to her craft. Congratulations to Mala on this well-deserved achievement at one of Germany’s most prestigious acting honors!

CICAE Award for THE SECRET AGENT at the Hamburg Film Festival
We are proud to share that our new co-production, Kleber Mendonça Filho’s THE SECRET AGENT, has earned the CICAE Award at Filmfest Hamburg, awarded to our German distributor Port-au-Prince Pictures. The €25,000 prize will support the film’s upcoming release in Germany, recognizing its remarkable blend of social relevance, cinematic intensity, and artistic precision. THE SECRET AGENT will be released in cinemas across Germany on November 6th. Congratulations to Port-au-Prince Pictures and big thanks to the MOIN Film Fund for supporting this important award for our industry.

Brazil selects THE SECRET AGENT for the Oscar race
Our co-production THE SECRET AGENT, directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho and led by Wagner Moura, has been chosen as Brazil’s official Oscar submission. Premiering at Cannes, the film was honored with palms for Best Director, Best Actor, and the FIPRESCI Prize. The political thriller, set during Brazil’s military dictatorship, has quickly become one of the year’s most acclaimed international titles. US distributor NEON will run the Oscar campaign. Congratulations to all our partners who made this incredible success possible.

US Premiere for KÖLN + 3 more productions at the Hamptons Int. Film Festival
Ido Fluk’s KÖLN 75 will celebrate it’s US premiere at the Hamptons International Film Festival (3–13 October 2025). The lineup also includes our co-productions THE SECRET AGENT by Kleber Mendonça Filho, PETER HUJAR’S DAY by Ira Sachs and CALLE MALAGA by Maryam Touzani. We are over the moon to have four films in one festival with such an incredible program.

ABOUT US
One Two Films is a Berlin-based production company run by Sol Bondy and Fred Burle. Our focus is on feature films for the international market.
With our carefully selected projects we provide our partners with a home base. Working closely together, we produce high-class art house films aimed at A-festivals and widespread distribution.
TEAM

Sol Bondy
was born in London and grew up in Spain and Berlin. He graduated from the German film school dffb Berlin. He was recognized as „Future Leader“ by Screen International and graduated from the “Trans Atlantic Partners” program in 2013. In 2018, he was named one of the „10 Producers to Watch” by Variety. In 2019, he graduated from the Inside Pictures program. Sol is a member of the European Film Academy and subsequently teaches at the dffb, Film University Potsdam, Met Film School and FAMU.

Fred Burle
is Brazilian and is been based in Berlin since 2010, where he graduated from the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). His short films have screened at over 400 festivals worldwide. He has worked as a film critic, at The Match Factory, at the Berlinale and at the Munich Film Festival. He has also lectured at the University of Brasília, the MET Film School in Berlin and the European Film College in Denmark.
Fred is a member of the European and the German Film Academies, an alumnus of the EAVE Puentes program, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the dffb since 2021. In 2025, he was nominated by German Films to represent Germany in the 26th edition of Producers on the Move at the Festival de Cannes.

Christoph Lange
was born and raised in Bremen. He graduated as Master in International Business at the University of Maastricht. Since then he founded, advised and managed various companies. His strategic investment and entrepreneurial know-how are the backbone of One Two Films.

Please note that we produce / co-produce feature films for the international market.
If you send us a project, please make sure that it fits within these requirements:
– aim for international distribution
– not shooting in the same year as the submission
If a project doesn’t fit into these criteria, please understand that we can’t answer.
We don’t do short films, series or documentaries, i.e. we can’t be answering submissions for that either.
INTERNSHIPS
Interns need to be fluent in German and English and already have some significant experience in film production.
Internships at One Two Films usually last 6 months.
We are currently not looking for new internships. New openings will be posted here.
