Three nominations to the Critic’s Choice Awards for The Tale

The ball keeps rolling in the US-award season, as The Tale got three nominations to the Critic’s Choice Awards in the categories Best Film (TV), Best Actress (TV or Limited Series) for Laura Dern and Best Supporting Actress (TV or Limited Series) for Ellen Burstyn. The award ceremony will be held at a gala event to be aired live on the CW Network Sunday on January 13, 2019, from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, US.

Golden Globes Nomination for Laura Dern

Congratulations to Laura Dern, the protagonist of our film The Tale, who just got nominated for the Golden Globes for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television! She is, in fact, the only nominee that is not from a limited series – so for us, a winner already! The award ceremony for this prestigious prize will be held on January 6, 2019, at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, California.

Hello My Friend supported by Filmstiftung NRW and BKM

Bettina Blümner’s new feature received 200.000,-EUR from Filmstiftung NRW and 150.000,-EUR from BKM. Principal photography will start in 2019 in Cuba. Neue Visionen is in charge of German distribution, World Sales are handled by Pluto Films.

Hier screens at the International Film Festival Marrakech

Our six-countries co-production Hier (Tegnap) by Balínt Kenyeres was selected for the International Film Festival Marrakech and will celebrate its African premiere in the section The 11th Continent. The festival takes place from November 30 to December 8 and highlights the best movies out of the festival circuit from the last year.

Two Satellite Awards nominations for The Tale

The Tale swoops two more nominations in the award season! Jennifer Fox’s Sundance breakout is nominated for two Satellite Awards in the categories for Best Motion Picture Made for Television and Best Actress for Laura Dern. The Satellite Awards are presented by the International Press Academy and the award ceremony will take place in February 2019 in Beverly Hills.

The Most Beautiful Couple wins Best Costume Design in Lünen

After a successful world premiere in Toronto and winning the Producer’s Award at the Hamburg Film Festival, our film was now awarded at the Kinofest Lünen. Congratulations to our costume designer Genoveva Kylburg and her team for an amazing job and this deserved recognition.


One Two Films is a Berlin based production company run by Sol Bondy, Jamila Wenske and Christoph Lange. Our focus is feature films for the international market. 

With our Director Driven projects we provide our carefully selected directors with a home base. Working closely together, we produce high-class art house films. With our Producer Driven projects we develop scripts together with authors, packaging projects with the goal of finding experienced directors for high-quality feature films. These are aimed solely at the market for widespread distribution.
We are alumni of the ACE, TAP, EAVE and INSIDE PICTURES programs and members of the German Producers Association VDFP, the German Film Academy and the European Film Academy.

Sol Bondy

Sol Bondy

was born in London and grew up in Spain and Berlin. He graduated from the German film school dffb Berlin. He was recognized as „Future Leader“ by Screen International and graduated from the “Trans Atlantic Partners” program in 2013. In 2018, he was named one of the „10 Producers to Watch” by Variety. Sol is a member of the European Film Academy and subsequently teaches at the dffb, Film University Potsdam, Met Film School and FAMU.

Jamila Wenske

Jamila Wenske

was born in Bad Saarow and grew up in Berlin. Following her studies in film production at the Film University Konrad Wolf in Babelsberg, she graduated from the German-French masterclass Atelier Network for young European producers in Ludwigsburg and Paris. She was selected to be part of the ACE program by Ateliers du Cinéma Européen in 2014 and is a member of the ACE Producers Network and the European Film Academy.

Christoph Lange

Christoph Lange

was born and raised in Bremen. He graduated as Master in International Business at the University of Maastricht. Since then he founded, advised and managed various companies. His strategic investment and entrepreneurial know-how are the backbone of One Two Films.

Fred Burle

Fred Burle

is Brazilian and lives in Berlin since 2010, where he graduated from the German Film School dffb. His shorts screened at more than 400 festivals worldwide. He worked as film critic, at the world sales company The Match Factory, at the Berlinale and Munich Film Festival, curated the first dffb-Festival and lectured at the University of Brasilia and the European Film College.
