Hier nominated at Zsigmond Vilmos Awards

Adam Fillenz, the cinematographer of our six-country co-production Hier, has been nominated for the Vilmos Zsigmond’s award at the Zsigmond Vilmos International Film Festival. The goal of the festival is to draw attention to an important co-creator of films, the cinematographer. It takes place from May 28 to June 1st in Szeged, Hungary. Congratulations to Adam! 

The Most Beautiful Couple nominated at German Film Awards

Luise Heyer has been nominated as Best Lead Actress at the German Film Awards! We congratulate her for her amazing performance in our film. The award ceremony will take place on the 3rd of May in Berlin, one day after its theatrical release in Germany. Fingers crossed!

One Two Films boards Tomasz Wasilewski’s Fools

Our new co-production with Polish award-winning producer Ewa Puszczynska/Extreme Emotions received financial support from the German-Polish Film Fund through MBB Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and MDM Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung. Fools is Wasilewski’s fourth feature, after his Berlinale competition title United States of Love, which won the silver bear for best script back in 2016. World sales are handled by New Europe Film Sales.

Franky Five Star awarded at JETS Berlinale

The project by German writer Knut Mierswe and director Birgit Möller, starring Jella Haase, won the Junior Entertainment Talent Slate (JETS) pitching competition at the Berlinale, confirming industry support from a broad range of international participants. The initiative unites up-and-coming filmmakers and their feature film projects with producers, sales agents, financing companies and distributors from a number of European countries, Canada and the US.

Three nominations to the Critic’s Choice Awards for The Tale

The ball keeps rolling in the US-award season, as The Tale got three nominations to the Critic’s Choice Awards in the categories Best Film (TV), Best Actress (TV or Limited Series) for Laura Dern and Best Supporting Actress (TV or Limited Series) for Ellen Burstyn. The award ceremony will be held at a gala event to be aired live on the CW Network Sunday on January 13, 2019, from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, US.

Golden Globes Nomination for Laura Dern

Congratulations to Laura Dern, the protagonist of our film The Tale, who just got nominated for the Golden Globes for Best Performance by an Actress in a Limited Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television! She is, in fact, the only nominee that is not from a limited series – so for us, a winner already! The award ceremony for this prestigious prize will be held on January 6, 2019, at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, California.


One Two Films is a Berlin based production company run by Sol Bondy, Jamila Wenske and Christoph Lange. Our focus is feature films for the international market. 

With our Director Driven projects we provide our carefully selected directors with a home base. Working closely together, we produce high-class art house films. With our Producer Driven projects we develop scripts together with authors, packaging projects with the goal of finding experienced directors for high-quality feature films. These are aimed solely at the market for widespread distribution.
We are alumni of the ACE, TAP, EAVE and INSIDE PICTURES programs and members of the German Producers Association VDFP, the German Film Academy and the European Film Academy.

Sol Bondy

Sol Bondy

was born in London and grew up in Spain and Berlin. He graduated from the German film school dffb Berlin. He was recognized as „Future Leader“ by Screen International and graduated from the “Trans Atlantic Partners” program in 2013. In 2018, he was named one of the „10 Producers to Watch” by Variety. Sol is a member of the European Film Academy and subsequently teaches at the dffb, Film University Potsdam, Met Film School and FAMU.

Jamila Wenske

Jamila Wenske

was born in Bad Saarow and grew up in Berlin. Following her studies in film production at the Film University Konrad Wolf in Babelsberg, she graduated from the German-French masterclass Atelier Network for young European producers in Ludwigsburg and Paris. She was selected to be part of the ACE program by Ateliers du Cinéma Européen in 2014 and is a member of the ACE Producers Network and the European Film Academy.

Christoph Lange

Christoph Lange

was born and raised in Bremen. He graduated as Master in International Business at the University of Maastricht. Since then he founded, advised and managed various companies. His strategic investment and entrepreneurial know-how are the backbone of One Two Films.

Fred Burle

Fred Burle

is Brazilian and lives in Berlin since 2010, where he graduated from the German Film School dffb. His shorts screened at more than 400 festivals worldwide. He worked as film critic, at the world sales company The Match Factory, at the Berlinale and Munich Film Festival, curated the first dffb-Festival and lectured at the University of Brasilia and the European Film College.
