CALLE MÁLAGA and KÖLN 75 at Shanghai International Film Festival

We are delighted to share that Ido Ido Fluk’s KÖLN 75 and Maryam Touzani’s CALLE MÁLAGA, in its Asian Premiere, will be screening at the Shanghai International Film Festival, one of Asia’s most prestigious and longest-running film festivals, and a key platform for international cinema to reach audiences across the region. The festival runs from today until 21 June. Both KÖLN 75 and CALLE MÁLAGA have enjoyed long and successful festival runs, proving themselves time and again as true crowd-pleasers with audiences around the world.

ZEJTUNE wins the award for Best Screenplay in an International Feature at Tribeca

We are thrilled to announce that Alex Camilleri’s ZEJTUNE has been awarded Best Screenplay in an International Feature at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival .In it’s statement, the jury said: “A film about reclaiming, reconnection, and preserving history as well as music. Not only did the writing manage to pull us into a world we on the jury hadn’t been before, but it supported the brilliant performances of its leads and allowed them to shine.”

One Two Films reunites with Aamu Film Company and Juho Kuosmanen for DREAM COME TRUE

After working together over 10 years ago on the Un Certain Regard – winner “The Happiest Day in the Life of Olli Mäki“, we are so happy to partner again with Jussi Rantamäki of Aamu Film Company, who is producing Juho Kuosmanen’s new feature “Dream Come True” alongside snowglobe in Denmark. The film stars Danish legends Magnus Millang (Another Round) and Paprika Steen (Festen) and is supported by the Danish and Finnish Film Institutes. German backing comes from SR/WDR/ARTE, Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg and FFA.

KÖLN 75 opens in UK cinemas

We are thrilled to share that Ido Fluk’s KÖLN 75 opens in selected UK cinemas on 5 June. This audience favourite brings to life the extraordinary true story of Vera Brandes, the young German concert promoter whose determination made Keith Jarrett’s legendary Cologne Concert possible, an event that would go on to become one of the most iconic recordings in jazz history.

Ahead of the release, Vera Brandes, Ido Fluk, Mala Emde, and producer Sol Bondy attended the UK premiere on 4 June. The screening was followed by a Q&A moderated by acclaimed British jazz pianist Nikki Yeoh.

PETER HUJAR'S DAY is now available on Mubi

After a successful festival run, which began in Sundance last year, continued through the Berlinale, just to name a few, we are thrilled to share that Ira Sachs’ Peter Hujar’s Day is now exclusively available for streaming on MUBI in Germany, Italy, Turkey, India, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Brazil. This intimate portrait into the artist’s life is led by Ben Whishaw’s and Rebecca Hall’s mesmerising performances and was nominated for 6 Independent Spirit Awards. The MUBI deal was made by our sales agent Films Boutique and is a co-production between Jordan Drake Productions and One Two Films.

ZEJTUNE celebrates its North-American Premiere at Tribeca

We are delighted to announce that Alex Camilleri’s ZEJTUNE has been selected by Tribeca, where it will celebrate its North American premiere. Zejtune is a co-production between Solari Productions, Pellikola, Noruz Films, One Two Films, Nizza Films and was supported by Screen Malta, ZFD / ARTE, Arts Council Malta, Screen Malta, Doha Film Institute and Gozo Film Fund.

One Two Films is a Berlin-based production company run by Sol Bondy and Fred Burle. Our focus is on feature films for the international market.

With our carefully selected projects we provide our partners with a home base. Working closely together, we produce high-class art house films aimed at A-festivals and widespread distribution.

We are alumni of the TAP and INSIDE PICTURES programs and members of the German Producers Association VDFP, European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs EAVE, the German Film Academy and the European Film Academy.

Sol Bondy

Sol Bondy

was born in London and grew up in Spain and Berlin. He graduated from the German film school dffb Berlin. He was recognized as „Future Leader“ by Screen International in 2013 and was named one of the „10 Producers to Watch” by Variety in 2018. Sol is an alumnus of the Trans Atlanic Partners and Inside Pictures programs, a member of the German and European Film Academies and subsequently teaches at the dffb, Film University Potsdam, Met Film School and HFF Munich.

Fred Burle

Fred Burle

is Brazilian and is been based in Berlin since 2010, where he graduated from the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). His short films have screened at over 400 festivals worldwide. He has worked as a film critic, at The Match Factory, at the Berlinale and at the Munich Film Festival. He has also lectured at the University of Brasília, the MET Film School in Berlin and the European Film College in Denmark.

Fred is a member of the European and the German Film Academies, an alumnus of the EAVE Puentes program, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the dffb since 2021. In 2025, he was nominated by German Films to represent Germany in the 26th edition of Producers on the Move at the Festival de Cannes.

Christoph Lange

Christoph Lange

was born and raised in Bremen. He graduated as Master in International Business at the University of Maastricht. Since then he founded, advised and managed various companies. His strategic investment and entrepreneurial know-how are the backbone of One Two Films.

Elena Zurbuch

Elena Zurbuch

grew up between her two homes, Berlin and Tuscany (Italy). After completing her bachelor’s degree in Italian Philology and Art History at the Freie Universität Berlin, she began her production studies at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB) in 2017. In 2019, she was a recipient of the VFF scholarship. During her studies, she produced numerous short films, including the short feature film LEIB which was awarded with the german predicate “particularly valuable” in 2021 and screened at several international festivals. Previously, Elena worked as a Junior Producer at the production company Achtung Panda!, where she was involved in the feature film ELLBOGEN, among other projects. Since May 2025, she has been working as a Project Manager at One Two Films.

Max Köhler

Max Köhler

was born in Lübeck. After completing his BA in Comparative Literature at the FU Berlin, he worked at the German Press Agency (DPA), German Television (ZDF) in Brazil and the NGO Reporters Without Borders. From 2021 until 2024, he studied Executive & Line Producing at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, where he produced several shorts and feature-length documentaries. In 2023, Max attended the Hollywood Masterclass at the UCLA in Los Angeles and was nominated for the NO FEAR Producers Award in 2024. Since graduating, he has budgeted several projects as freelancer and worked as Assistant Line Producer for the unfinished  franchise RIDDICK: FURYA as well as for the Fremantle Company UFA Fiction. He started working at One Two Films as Inhouse Line Producer, overseeing all projects, in August 2025.

SENDING US PROJECTS

Please note that we produce / co-produce feature films for the international market.
If you send us a project, please make sure that it fits within these requirements:

– aim for international distribution

– not shooting in the same year as the submission

If a project doesn’t fit into these criteria, please understand that we can’t answer.

We don’t do short films, series or documentaries, i.e. we can’t be answering submissions for that either.

INTERNSHIPS

Interns need to be fluent in German and English and already have some significant experience in film production.
Internships at One Two Films usually last 6 months.

We are currently not looking for new internships. New openings will be posted here.
