Box Office Sensation for Persian Lessons in China

The film directed by Vadim Perelman and starring Nahuel Pérez Biscayart and Lars Eidinger was released in Chinese theaters on March 19 on over 10.000 screens and remains in the top 10 in the second week. So far, the film has grossed 3,5 Million USD with over 600k admissions. And counting…

The Oblivion Theory wins Eurimages Co-Production Award

The Berlinale Co-Production Market has been an amazing kick-off for Annemarie Jacir’s The Oblivion Theory, where it has won the top prize of the market, the Eurimages Co-Production Development Award of 20k EUR. A unanimous decision, said the jury members Luís Urbano, Els Hendrix and Tine Klint. The award ceremony took place online on March 03. We’re honored to be part of this project, alongside Eric Dupont’s French company Incognito Films

Berlinale Co-Pro Market selects Wild Encounters and The Oblivion Theory

We’re proud to announce that two of our next projects were selected for the prestigious Co-Pro Market at the Berlinale this year. Wild Encounters is the debut feature from talented upcoming director Sarah Arnold and will be co-produced with French 5à7 Films. The Oblivion Theory is a co-production with (also French) Incognito Films and directed by multiple-awarded director Annemarie Jacir. We’re looking forward to meeting possible new partners for these very promising projects. 

Persian Lessons qualifies for Golden Globes - Best Foreign Language Film

Our Russian-German-Belarusian co-production took another important step into the award season by qualifying for the Golden Globes as Best Foreign Language Film. The nominees will be announced on February 02, with the award ceremony set for February 28 in Beverly Hills, California.

Persian Lessons enters OSCAR race for International Feature

Vadim Perelman’s Persian Lessons has been chosen as the Belarusian contender at the upcoming 93rd Academy Awards. The film was completely shot in the country and stars Lars Eidinger and Nahuel Pérez Biscayart. Cohen Media Group will release in the US, who have a great track record of nominees and winners in the International Feature Film category, most recently The Salesman. Sales are handled by Memento, releases across major European territories are planned for the next 2 months.

Northern Comfort with development support from MEDIA

Hafsteinn Gunnar Sigurdsson’s Northern Comfort received 50k EUR development support from Creative Europe MEDIA. The project will be Hafsteinn’s fourth feature and our second collaboration, after the success of Under the Tree. Delegate producer is our long-term partner Netop Films (IS), with Good Chaos (UK) and Profile Pictures (DK) completing the production team.

One Two Films is a Berlin-based production company run by Sol Bondy. Our focus is on feature films for the international market. 

With our Director Driven projects we provide our carefully selected directors with a home base. Working closely together, we produce high-class art house films. With our Producer Driven projects we develop scripts together with authors, packaging projects with the goal of finding experienced directors for high-quality feature films. These are aimed solely at the market for widespread distribution.
We are alumni of the TAP and INSIDE PICTURES programs and members of the German Producers Association VDFP, the German Film Academy and the European Film Academy.

Sol Bondy

Sol Bondy

was born in London and grew up in Spain and Berlin. He graduated from the German film school dffb Berlin. He was recognized as „Future Leader“ by Screen International and graduated from the “Trans Atlantic Partners” program in 2013. In 2018, he was named one of the „10 Producers to Watch” by Variety. In 2019, he graduated from the Inside Pictures program. Sol is a member of the European Film Academy and subsequently teaches at the dffb, Film University Potsdam, Met Film School and FAMU.

Christoph Lange

Christoph Lange

was born and raised in Bremen. He graduated as Master in International Business at the University of Maastricht. Since then he founded, advised and managed various companies. His strategic investment and entrepreneurial know-how are the backbone of One Two Films.

Fred Burle

Fred Burle

is Brazilian and lives in Berlin since 2010, where he graduated from the German Film School dffb. His shorts screened at more than 400 festivals worldwide. He worked as a film critic, at The Match Factory, at the Berlinale and Munich Film Festival, curated the first dffb-Festival, and lectured at the University of Brasilia and the European Film College. In 2020, he was selected for the EAVE Puentes program. He started working for One Two Films in 2017 and is now the company’s second producer.

Daniela Ramin

Daniela Ramin

was born and raised in Berlin. She started working in the industry in 2001 while studying arts at FU Berlin and UvA Amsterdam. She worked as assistant to the Head of Press of the Berlinale and as a producer for Dreamer Joint Venture Filmproduktion GmbH, where she stayed for 9 years. She also led a team of production managers for over 5 years at the German dubbing company SDI Media Germany. From April 2020, she joined our team as line producer.
