KÖLN 75 received distribution support from German Films
Distributors in six countries have received financial support from German Films to launch the film in their respective territories. The countries / distributors include: France (Metropolitan Filmexport – 20.000€), Spain (Selectavision – 4.500€), Sweden (AB Svensk Filmindustri – 4.500€), USA (Kino Lorber in association with Zeitgeist Films – 6.500€), Norway (SF Studios/AB Svensk Filmindustri – 3.500€) and Finland (4.500€) . We’re grateful for this strong backing as KÖLN 75 continues its international journey to touch audiences around the world!

KÖLN 75 begins global rollout with release in France
KÖLN 75, written and directed by Ido Fluk, has officially begun its international journey. The film premiered in France on June 25 under the local title AU RYTHME DE VERA. Distributed by Metropolitan Filmexport, the French release marks the first step in the film’s global rollout. A deeply personal and visually rich story, KÖLN 75 continues to captivate audiences across borders. Next stops for Vera’s incredible story are Poland and Spain in July.

Mala Emde nominated for German Acting Award for KÖLN 75
We’re thrilled to share that Mala Emde has been nominated for Best Dramatic Leading Role at the 2025 German Acting Awards for her outstanding performance in KÖLN 75. The award ceremony will take place on October 9, with two recipients being honored in this prestigious category. Mala stands among a remarkable group of nominees this year. Congratulations to her on this well-deserved recognition!

It’s a wrap for ANY OTHER NIGHT!
We’ve officially wrapped ANY OTHER NIGHT, a Berlin-set romantic comedy, directed by Michiel ten Horn and starring Tatiana Maslany and Marwan Kenzari. The film marks ten Horn’s first English-language feature and brings together partners from across the globe: One Two Films (DE), Lithium Studios and Film Forge (CA), Lemming Film (NL), and Kalamata Film, with sales by Lucky Number and German distribution via Port au Prince. With generous support from German, Dutch, and Canadian film funds, this project has been a real team effort from start to finish. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped bring it to life and can’t wait to share more soon!

FFA minority co-production fund supports THE STATION
Incredible news came in as our co-production THE STATION was one of the very few selected projects to receive support from the FFA international minority co-production fund with the amount of 200k EUR. The project marks the first feature film for Yemeni-Scottish director Sara Ishaq, who already got an Oscar nom for her short documentary KARAMA HAS NO WALLS in 2013. This is a significant step forward for the project, while our co-production partners include Screen Project and Imaginarium Films (JO), Georges Films (FR), Keplerfilm (NL), and Barentsfilm (NO). World Sales are handled by Paradise City International (former Memento International).

NEON and MUBI acquire THE SECRET AGENT
We’re pleased to announce that THE SECRET AGENT, directed by Kleber Mendonça Filho and starring Wagner Moura, has secured key international distribution partners following its premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. NEON has acquired the film for North America, while MUBI will distribute the title in the UK, Ireland, India, and across Latin America (excluding Brazil). These partnerships mark a significant step in bringing the film to audiences worldwide. Produced by Cinemascópio (BR), mk2 Productions (FR), One Two Films (DE), and Lemming Film (NL).

One Two Films is a Berlin-based production company run by Sol Bondy and Fred Burle. Our focus is on feature films for the international market.
With our carefully selected projects we provide our partners with a home base. Working closely together, we produce high-class art house films aimed at A-festivals and widespread distribution.
TEAM

Sol Bondy
was born in London and grew up in Spain and Berlin. He graduated from the German film school dffb Berlin. He was recognized as „Future Leader“ by Screen International and graduated from the “Trans Atlantic Partners” program in 2013. In 2018, he was named one of the „10 Producers to Watch” by Variety. In 2019, he graduated from the Inside Pictures program. Sol is a member of the European Film Academy and subsequently teaches at the dffb, Film University Potsdam, Met Film School and FAMU.

Fred Burle
is Brazilian and is been based in Berlin since 2010, where he graduated from the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). His short films have screened at over 400 festivals worldwide. He has worked as a film critic, at The Match Factory, at the Berlinale and at the Munich Film Festival. He has also lectured at the University of Brasília, the MET Film School in Berlin and the European Film College in Denmark.
Fred is a member of the European and the German Film Academies, an alumnus of the EAVE Puentes program, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the dffb since 2021. In 2025, he was nominated by German Films to represent Germany in the 26th edition of Producers on the Move at the Festival de Cannes.

Daniela Ramin
was born and raised in Berlin. She started working in the industry in 2001 while studying arts at FU Berlin and UvA Amsterdam. She worked as assistant to the Head of Press of the Berlinale and as a producer for Dreamer Joint Venture Filmproduktion GmbH, where she stayed for 9 years. She also led a team of production managers for over 5 years at the German dubbing company SDI Media Germany. From April 2020, she joined our team as line producer.

Christoph Lange
was born and raised in Bremen. He graduated as Master in International Business at the University of Maastricht. Since then he founded, advised and managed various companies. His strategic investment and entrepreneurial know-how are the backbone of One Two Films.

SENDING US PROJECTS
Please note that we produce / co-produce feature films for the international market.
If you send us a project, please make sure that it fits within these requirements:
– aim for international distribution
– not shooting in the same year as the submission
If a project doesn’t fit into these criteria, please understand that we can’t answer.
We don’t do short films, series or documentaries, i.e. we can’t be answering submissions for that either.
INTERNSHIPS
Interns need to be fluent in German and English and already have some significant experience in film production.
Internships at One Two Films usually last 6 months.
We are currently not looking for new internships. New openings will be posted here.
