SYNOPSIS

After Inga, a middle aged dairy farmer, loses her husband she must stand on her own two feet. She decides to start a new life on her own terms and rises up against corruption and injustice in her community.

DIRECTOR: Grímur Hákonarson

Grímur Hákonarson (born 1977) is director and screenwriter. His first feature film was Summerland from 2010, for which Grímur was nominated for the Edda Award for Best Screenplay. His next feature film was Rams, which won, among other 30 awards worldwide, the Prix Un Certain Regard of the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and was distributed in over 40 countries.
